Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Prime Pallets SA (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Who is responsible

We are the responsible party for the information you give us on this site. Address: 123 Placeholder Road, Industrial Park, Johannesburg, 2000, Gauteng. Email: info@primepalletssa.com. Information Officer: [name].

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, company, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, VAT number if you give one, and your order history.
  • When you contact us or book a visit: the details you type into the form and the message itself.
  • When you create an account: your login details and saved addresses.
  • When you browse: technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, collected through cookies. See our cookie policy.

We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider.

Why we use it

  • To process and deliver your order, issue tax invoices and handle returns.
  • To answer your enquiries and arrange warehouse visits.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.
  • To meet our legal duties, such as keeping tax and accounting records.
  • To send you news or offers, but only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to do what you asked: our payment provider, transport and delivery partners, our website hosting and email providers, and our accountants. We do not sell your personal information. Some of these providers may store data outside South Africa. Where they do, we require them to protect it to a standard comparable to POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for at least five years, as South African tax law requires. Enquiries and visit requests are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. We delete or anonymise information we no longer need.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and trusted providers. If there is a security compromise that affects you, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. You may object to us processing it, and you may withdraw consent you gave earlier. Email info@primepalletssa.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
